The office team of Bowen Painter Trial Lawyers provides comprehensive representation to the area’s wrongfully and often fatally injured. The team works close together and assumes only a limited number of cases in order to give each client the time and energy they deserve.


Crystal L. Nichols, ACP

Office Manager, Advanced Certified Paralegal-Trial Practice

Crystal Nichols, a native of Waycross, Georgia, received her B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis in Anthropology from Valdosta State University. After working for the State of Georgia for a short period she concurrently began working in the legal field and taking additional classes at V.S.U. in order to receive a B.A. in Legal Assistant Studies. She then went on to earn the designations of Certified Paralegal and Advanced Certified Paralegal in the area of Trial Practice from the National Association of Legal Assistants.

In 2008 Crystal moved from Valdosta to Savannah and immediately became an active volunteer in the community. She has volunteered her time with the Southeastern Association of Legal Assistants (SEALA), Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia Affiliate, and various other organizations.

Theresa Reed

Paralegal

Theresa is a paralegal at Bowen Painter, LLC and brings to the firm over thirty years of legal experience. Originally, she began her studies towards a nursing degree at Bellarmine College in Louisville, Kentucky in 1979. As often happens in life, and maybe you’ve stopped to review our firm’s website for a similar reason, she needed legal advice. After she experienced the legal process with her attorney, it made such a positive impression on her that she redirected her education to legal studies while working with law firms in Louisville.

Theresa relocated to Columbus, Ohio in 1987 and continued her work with a law firm there while attending at Columbus State University. In 1990, she continued her legal studies at The American Institute of Paralegal Studies and received her paralegal certification in 1993.

Theresa moved to Atlanta in 1993 and was a paralegal for plaintiff and defense firms in Atlanta for twenty-four years. Theresa and her family often visited Savannah and it was one of her favorite places to visit. An opportunity arose in 2011 for her and she relocated to Savannah to continue her legal career working in the Savannah legal community prior to joining Bowen Painter, LLC. Theresa enjoys working and assisting the clients throughout the litigation process and working with the legal team at Bowen Painter, LLC.

Jasmine Wilson

Administrative Assistant

Jasmine Wilson is the administrative assistant at Bowen Painter, LLC. Jasmine is native of Cross, South Carolina. In 2014, she received her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Community and Human Services from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC where she resided for 5 years. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, Jasmine began her career in the legal field at a local law firm in Conway, SC.

In 2015, Jasmine moved from Conway, South Carolina to Hinesville, Georgia. She continued her career in the legal field at Bowen Painter, LLC. She then decided to further her studies by pursuing her Masters of Science in Legal Studies from Kaplan University where she is currently enrolled. Jasmine is eager to achieve many goals and become more involved in the surrounding communities.
